I love Morning at Market Street sessions, especially for little ones!  The color and light is so beautiful and we have the entire place to ourselves!  I was overjoyed to get to work with Sloan again…I saw her for 6 month pics and loved getting to do her 1st Birthday session with her!  Her expressions and personality are a magnet to my camera and I just have to warn you….I have lots of pictures to share…because deciding on just a few was too hard!

Nothing makes time seem like it’s flying more than when I see one of my newborn clients have their first birthday!  Did the earth really circle the sun that fast!?  It seems like it wasn’t too long ago that we were doing Zoe’s newborn pictures and now here we are celebrating her first birthday!

She was taking it all in for the first part of the session but then she lit up with some of the most gorgeous smiles!  And of course, what 1st Birthday session is complete without a cake smash?

Happy Birthday Zoe!

It wasn’t that long ago that I was sharing Garner’s birth story with you, but we all know how time has that pesky way of going by way too fast and this little guy is already seven months old.  I was beyond excited when Kat asked me to do an in home “Happy Place” session with her family a few weeks ago.  We wanted to let the boys have fun while capturing pictures in sweet spots of their home.   These rooms not only capsulate our memories…they are where true joy, love and comfort are found daily in this stage of life.

These types of Happy Place sessions are my new far and away favorite…..and make sure to scroll down all the way to the bottom to see their Life in Motion add on video!

I loved getting to work with not one but TWO sweet babies a few weeks ago!   I remember telling their mom and dad that they were making this parenting thing look totally easy….they were so relaxed and calm about everything.

Twins always fascinate me.  Within being at the house for only a few minutes, I could see such different personalities from these little ones!  Madison had the funniest expressions she would give me to let me know if she wasn’t having something while Abel was just content and observing so much of the time.  I actually had to snap fast when Abel blinked a few times just to make it look like he was sleeping!  Brother was wide awake for most of the session, but that’s why I love just capturing babies as they are…it makes for a much more relaxed session for everyone!

This family jumped in with one of my last available spots for 2016, and didn’t let it bother them that my only opening was the very next day after they inquired.  I’ve never seen anyone throw together outfits as quickly and so well as this momma.  They were dressed to a T, and ready to go all before 8am…not easy to do with two little ones 2 and under!

Be prepared that I have a lot to share with you here.  I adore this family sooo much!  I met them about a year and a half ago when we did newborn pictures…and there were just as stinkin cute then as they are now….nope…they’re even cuter now and I didn’t know that was possible.

They are one of those families who just radiate love for each other and their son….and guess what…that comes through in pictures!

I loved getting to work with this family last weekend.  It was especially fun to watch the boys sweet (and funny) personalities come out as we got to know each other….their smiles were so contagious!  We had so much fun playing around, I’m pretty sure they forgot their pictures were even being taken…and that’s the way I like it!
